I expected to be a lot more awkward during my final, if only because of how much I tripped over my words during my midterm. I came into the assignment not really knowing how I would converse with someone for 4+ minutes, and definitely not knowing what we would talk about. I was also really stressed about finding the “perfect partner”.
Flash forward to the actual final, I had an (in my opinion, well written) script memorized, as did my partner. Nervous, but confident (if that’s even possible), I walked into Aleida’s office, sat down, and did my final. Though I did mess up a few times, I think my partner, Thomas, and I recovered really well, and, in the end, did really good work. I’m really happy with how we did.
I really want to look into the past tense (and other things like that), in Spanish 2, hopefully to all add up into better conversational skills. I think that, even if I can’t speak Spanish fluently by the end of my High School career, I hope to be able to understand and respond to someone speaking Spanish, if need be.
