I think I have improved my Spanish skills since the first day of this class because of my improved knowledge of verb conjugation, and of course, my expanded vocabulary. This is shown in my latest video, of me and my partner, Thomas, because it shows us having a conversation we came up with ourselves. It goes above the basic questions and answers we learned earlier in the year, though I don’t think it shows the full extent of our knowledge.
To get this far in my Spanish, I had to take good notes, and study at home (by using quizlet, and my notebook). To improve in my Spanish, I plan on practicing more with real people, and doing more mnemonic device type things to remember words.
If I were to take my final today, I would probably do okay, though I don't think I would make over 5 minutes (maybe not even pass the lower limit - the four minute mark). I haven't really begun memorizing my script, so although I do have a long-ish final, I don’t know a lot of it by heart. My next step in preparing for the final is to work on memorizing the script, as I said before. My partner and I also want to say our script out loud a few times, to see how long it is, and see how much more we have to write. If all goes well, I want my final to be an interesting, 5+ minute conversation, that would mirror a conversation Thomas and I might have normally, in English.
