Integrated Math 2
In math this year, we've made SAT problems into open ended problems, and also done more of these random problems every other week.
A mathematical theory is not to be considered complete until you have made it so clear that
you can explain it to the first man whom you meet on the street.

CAHSEE Reflection and SAT/ACT research
I am confident that I did well on the ELA portion of the CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam), and I also think I did well on the Math. If at any point in the Math section I came to a problem that I didn't recognize, I would try to take it apart; find out what it was asking, then figure out what I needed to do to find that answer, preferably using a method that involved the numbers they gave me. Going off of this, I think I used the habit of a mathematician "take apart and put back together" during the CAHSEE, because of how I handled the problems I didn't understand. Something I think I can improve on with this type of test is going over some earlier (middle/elementary school) concepts again, right before the test, since those were most of the concepts that the CAHSEE was testing.
Some colleges that I am interested in attending are UC Berkeley, USC, and SDSU. The SAT and ACT scores I would need to get into all of those schools are shown below.

I plan to take the "old" (or original) SAT in the fall of my junior year, and hopefully the new one as well, in the spring. Depending on how well I do on those two takes, I may or may not retake it in my senior year. As for the ACT, I will try to take it in my junior year, but costs may become unreasonable. When the time comes to prepare for the SAT/ACT, I will try to take as many practice tests as I can, and definitely review math concepts used in the test. The SAT is supposed to be much more difficult than the CAHSEE, so more preparation will definitely take place.
