The Life Cycle of a California Ground Squirrel
Below is the process of making a page that was included in my group's magazine, detailing the life cycle of a squirrel.
This is the first draft of a watercolored image that I made for this page. This image is the main focal point of the page, because it shows a full body shot of the squirrel the page talks about. Some critique I got was to make the background, define some of the lines/shadows (especially with the arms/hands), and working on proportions. Below, you can see what it turned into.
